The GHTBL has organized competitive baseball since the summer of 1929. It all started at Colt Park during the game’s Golden Era, when top players from the Greater Hartford area went straight from the twi-loop to the professional ranks.

Our Mission
As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, GHTBL’s mission is to preserve and promote amateur baseball in the Greater Hartford area while supporting our community through charitable giving.
Greater Hartford Twilight Baseball League
Established in 1929, Greater Hartford Twilight Baseball League is Connecticut’s premier summer league. More than 350 alumni have played professionally. Jeff Bagwell, Bernie Williams, Rob Dibble and Ricky Bottalico joined GHTBL before becoming MLB All-Stars. Current professional alumni include AJ Pollock, Scott Oberg, Mike Gulino and Marvin Gorgas.
